OFFICE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Full Time: Monday to Friday – 08:15 to 17:15.
GCSE Maths and English minimum
1 year minimum in an office environment
MS Office Suite: primarily Excel, Word and Outlook.
Possess knowledge and use of a database application system such as SAP/Sage or similar; familiar with data entry, retrieval and manipulation.
Ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and having an organised and thorough approach to work.
Be an effective communicator both orally and in writing and possess an excellent telephone manner.
Ability to successfully prioritise, manage time and resources.
Display effective interpersonal skills.
Have a flexible approach to work and display a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities, working alone or as part of a team.
Daily processing of Job Packs: Goods Issue; Goods Receipt; Hazardous Waste Document Administration.
Document Filing: keep filing up to date on a daily basis.
Checking of weekly contract data.
General office administration: perform tasks requested by Office Team. Undertake any miscellaneous or special projects as directed by the Office Team or Management Team.
Manage daily contact with customers & suppliers by email and telephone.
Administration of Purchase Orders
Stationery procurement / inventory control – Purchase of stationery and office supplies using preferred suppliers ensuring timely replenishment and taking into account economic order quantities
Assistance throughout the recruitment process – liaising with employment agencies and applicants via phone and email.
Preparation of employee starter packs
Transport administration including collection requests, driver, fuel and vehicle reports.
Assistance with daily Office operations as required.
