CSS Recycling are the leading processor and recycler of WEEE waste in the UK, through the expertise of our people and the investment in technology we promote and deliver a sustainable solution for recycling of WEEE. As a result of continuous business growth we are looking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in the career and join a well-established and successful team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Payment: accordingly to your experience, will be established at interview;

 Main duties: 

  • work closely with a number of specific clients within a portfolio
  • manage the Day to Day running of those contracts
  • assist where necessary in the running of the Contracts Department 
  • ensure costing are completed prior to final invoicing  
  • completion of monthly reports
  • preparation of quotations for new business
  • the position reports directly to the Managing Director and Contracts Manager

Personal Attributes:

  • experience in working within the Waste and/or Recycling Industry represents an advantage, however it is not essential for the right candidate 
  • proven experience in managing and developing new and existing accounts 
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written 
  • proven success in working to sales targets
  • positive can do attitude
  • ability to multi task and priorities
  • excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
  • ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels
  • results focused
  • time management skills
  • good It skills proficient in word, excel, 
  • knowledge of SAP an advantage but not essential 
  • mandatory: full UK driving license
